1. GPS
1.1. Previous week: 135In for IDS
- Stable since last wednesday. No call over the week end.
- This morning, call from the user because of slight decrease in the yield, but lasers looked ok, and after reoptimization only 5% improvement which was probably fluctuations.
1.2. Current week: still 135In for IDS
- Run until thursday morning
2. HRS
2.1. Previous week: coupling LIST target
- Installation of the LIST electronics in the HRS HV cage went smoothly.
- Coupling of the LIST target went smoothly.
2.2 Current week: Tm setup and LIST target optimization
- LIST performance assesment and Tm preparation
- Tm was found yesterday and lasers were optimized this morning
- Test on the beamgate leakage earlier today: with 1.4nA of K with BG open, there were no K anymore with BG closed.
- In the coming days, we will finish the LIST/PI-LIST setup/optimization.

Targets, Schedule and Physics 10mSpeakers: Hanne Heylen (CERN), Isabel Frank (CERN), Matthias Alexander Grasser, Simon Thomas Stegemann (CERN)
Physics
On GPS, 135In beams are sent to the Isolde decay station to study beta-delayed neutron emission with new high-resolution neutron detectors. This is a very exotic case with expected low yield. There were unfortunately several interruptions due to target/line trips and PSB, as well as a few issues with the IDS tapestation, so they might not reach the desired statistics.
Schedule
- Schedule until mid July updated with target numbers: https://isolde.web.cern.ch/sites/default/files/2025_overview_schedule_W13-29_v2.2.pdf
- No update on GLM/GHM situation
- Finetuning schedule for Thursday and Monday for start-stop Tm run
