Persistent Symmetry Breaking

I will review various setups in which a symmetry broken at temperature zero persists for any value of the temperature.

Examples of such a phenomena will be discussed in spacetime dimensions that range from four to three.

Some first intuitions on when this can occur will  be mentioned.
