Description

The goal of this workshop is to initiate the discussion and brainstorming about BSM scenarios that could provide interesting benchmarks to drive and evaluate the performance of trigger strategies for the HL-LHC phase, as made possible by the new tools developed within the Next Generation Triggers project. The workshop represents the first milestone of Task 1.6 of the project, and it is held in coincidence with  the Evolving Beyond the Standard Model Institute, organized by the CERN TH Department.

The programme will start with theoretical contributions on models and signatures, and will be followed by contributions from the experiments, presenting their perspective on new opportunities offered by future triggers, with a general discussion at the end. To propose specific presentations or topics for discussion, please contact the Organizing Commitee at ngt-bsm-wshop-admin at cern.ch

To register to the egroup dedicated to  the "BSM benchmarks" task 1.6 of the NGT project, and be informed about future activities, follow this link: https://e-groups.cern.ch/e-groups/EgroupsSubscription.do?egroupName=ngt-1-6
