In this talk I will discuss the development of the CuboDAQ system, a data acquisition system developed to read out SiPM-based detectors.
It is a standalone system, featuring the electronics board necessary to digitize the SiPM signal, to transmit it to a server and the software to run the detector and process the data.
The front-end is based on the TOFPET2 ASIC, produced by PETsys, connected to a custom board, with a Cyclone V FPGA.
Multiple boards can be operated synchronously by distributing the clock and synchronous reset signals from a central source.
