- I/O meeting: NTR
- Statistical analysis software: Discussions with ATLAS members on issues/features needed for 6.36 release. Speed improvements on HistFactory is appreciated and should be highlighted in ROOT’s release highlights.
Topics
- Jack’s overview presentation at ALICE week went well; particular interest in RNTuple. ALICE members showed interest in adopting RNT and RDF. The proposal to have a liaison is being discussed.
- IRIS-HEP physics analysis at HL-LHC workshop: See Vincenzo’s notes in the status report. Lukas added that the big range of use cases makes it difficult to optimise ROOT for all use cases. Inefficiencies in user analyses setups are hard to address from our side. Danilo mentions that the ROOT workshop is a good place to address these issues for the benefit of the community.

- clang-format issues: Different versions of clang-format can produce slightly different results. There is no obvious remedy other than going to a newer version when possible.
- On the status report document: The structure by topics seems to lead to a longer meeting. Reminder to us to point out the most important topics.
