Description
This presentation will provide an overview about Epic Crystal's scintillation crystal and detector technologies, including customized LYSO, GAGG, and BGO arrays. Focus will be put on the advanced customization capabilities for complex array geometries, showing the ability to fabricate trapezoidal, stacked and micro-pixel arrays with high precision. At the micro-scale, pixel sizes as small as 0.3x0.3mm can be achieved, while large-scale matrices up to 100x50mm are also within production scope, all while maintaining excellent surface quality and high light collection efficiency through optimized polishing and reflector application.
The high-precision processing combined with versatile material options are key to delivering tailored solutions for applications like PET/SPECT, industrial CT. Results of our capabilities in crystal growth (Bridgman & Czochralski), precision machining, and full detector module assembly will be summarized and presented.
