o Update on infrastructure and equipment:
§ Re-launched the contact with Capacitec to test their capacitive sensors. We provided all information for their market study.
§ Visit from SIEMENS for the upgrade of the winding machine control system. Fruitful discussion. The agreement is to have the machine fully commissioned before the end of the year (end of November).
o Update on winding tests:
§ Two sets of winding tests performed using MQXFB leftovers:
· 50 mm between the exit of the hard-way and beginning of easy-way
· 20 mm between the exit of the hard-way and beginning of easy-way
§ No showstoppers found so-far. Interesting to see, however, that when the cable is removed from the machine some strands systematically pop-out in the easy way bending. We will follow-up on this.
o Update on cable:
§ BOND-M copper cable to be produced next week (J. Fleiter).
