• XRootD Collaboration Meeting on July 10th, at 4pm
  • Use the meeting to report back to stakeholders on our plans (i.e. roadmap to XRootD 6.0)
• Potential topics
  • Project governance
    • How to decide on GitHub organization access and roles, CODEOWNERS file, etc
    • DCO (Developer certification of origin) and CLA (Contributor Licensing Agreement)

  • PoW items are now catalogued in XRootD Evolution project
    • Priorities are not accurate, many items have no priority
  • Evolution of XRootD documentation (see here for more info)
  • ZTN & TLS requirements (can we switch to TLS after kXR_login?)
  • Redirects and tokens appearing in URLs (may need WLCG to step in)
    • Propose to filter sensitive headers from header2cgi (i.e. force clients resubmit tokens)
• For us: Which draft items in work plan should be converted to standard GitHub issues?
• Quality Assurance
  • Coverity: recently got access to https://scan.coverity.com/projects/xrootd-xrootd
  • Memcheck (valgrind), Static Analysis (clang-tidy), and Sanitizer builds under way as well
  • Lots of work to be done to fix reported issues

The intention is to keep GitHub issues for bugs, and use GitHub discussions and the mailing list for questions.
