Speaker

Abstract:

The search for Supersymmetry (SUSY) is one of the primary physics analysis efforts for the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. This talk will summarize the main motivations for a supersymmetric extension to the Standard Model, outline the principal search strategies employed by ATLAS, and show the most recent search results for analyses targeting discovery of strongly produced sparticles. Studies of final states involving jets, leptons, and gauge bosons with the presence of large missing energy will be the central focus.
