Cavern intervention on 23/07/2025 (Mohamed, Sinem, Giulio) [e-log]:
- Fixed the issue with the Iee current of the BML6A01.CO Vee channel [e-log].
Found to be due to a retracted pin in Vsense patch panel and a sligthly tilted connector on chamber [e-log]
- Some gas gaps where having high ohmic current and were disconnected rack side, some gas gaps to be reconnected.
ADC board issue on 27/07/2025 [e-log]
- Location: Y_2904_X7_C2/H1/br02/crate0/slot08, Model: A3801, Status: 10, Temp: 0, Fsm: b040070, Mask: 1, Hw: H1:br02.ch013.
- ADC board for Igap readout was propagating fatal and masked. BOL6A01.CO.DP2.Ly0.DZ1 gas gap giving NOT READY behind, with very high, possibly fake, Igap readout (123 uA). The DCS ramped down its HV channel, BOL.A.01.CO.Ly0.RO, to 5010V. Changing a bit v1 for the HV channel, the Igap readout does seem stuck. I have kept v1 to 5010V for safety reason and masked the HV channel. ADC board to be recycled. Also red octant 1 to be fixed [e-log]
LVL1/DAQ trigger pad power cycles (Marco, Claudio) [e-log]
- Software power cycle performed on RPC trigger tower s11_t4 because one OHP histogram in PAD_in_DAQ was showing entries of tower 4 shifted to tower 0 since few runs. The issue in the OHP histogram called "PAD and SL fragments per sector" was fixed.
- Hardware power cycle performed on RPC PAD BMS5A16 because of higher trigger rate from trigger tower s62_t4 (~15 kHz), but the trigger tower s62_t4 still showed high rate later (~15 kHz, ~5 times higher w.r.t. other towers of the same trigger sector).
Other
- Trigger efficiency to be monitored (https://atlas-rpc-perf.cern.ch/RPCWeb/Timing/) after gas gap disconnections.
- BOL3A15.CO.Ly1 gas gaps working on 2024, left disconnected this year.
- BOS1C04.CO.Ly1 gas gaps working on 2024, disconnected on 13/09/2024, left disconnected this year.
