FCC-ee optics tuning WG meeting
F. Houng reports on her summer student work on coupling measurements in FCC. SR is not included and 1000 turns are tracked. In GHC with 1 um BPM resolution 51 different seeds, the accuracy is within 2e-3, which should be investigated further if this could be improved by using more turns. Going to e.g. 50k turns, would give an additional factor of about 70 in resolution.
A. Hussain presents on random b3 errors in dipoles in GHC with mean SR, no beam-beam, and factor-chroma or step-chroma correction. Both yield equal results. R. Tomas suggests to check if this is the option with new L*, which should be checked. G. Roy ask how sextupoles are scaled. K. Andre comments that he only did studies in pyAT for systematic error of up to 2 units, which generated 70 units of chroma.
