A3D3 & NATEA Seattle Seminar: Hsiang-Wei Hu
In this session, Dr. Hu will share his 10-year journey leading the H.I.T. community—building a cross-disciplinary AI network of over 700 members, organizing more than 900 collaborative learning events, and establishing four global chapters. He also co-founded the BIT Research Alliance to further strengthen international collaboration in biomedical innovation. Dr. Hu has helped implement AI systems in 15 organizations, published 37 peer-reviewed papers, and filed 14 patents. In addition to leading strategic collaborations with Google, NVIDIA, and Microsoft, he has co-founded or supported six AI startups to promote the real-world deployment of AI technologies both domestically and internationally. Dr. Hu continues to pursue the vision of “Tech for Good, Community Co-Creation, and Digital Inclusion” in building a globally impactful innovation and learning platform.

The A3D3 Seminar is a monthly lecture series that hosts scholars working across applied areas of artificial intelligence, such as hardware algorithm co-development, high energy physics, multi-messenger astrophysics, and neuroscience. Our presenters come from all four domain fields and include occasional external speakers beyond the A3D3 science areas, governmental agencies and industry. The seminar will be recorded and published in YouTube. To receive future event updates, subscribe here.
This edition is a special joint event between NATEA Seattle and A3D3, bringing together additional community voices and perspectives.
