15:00 → 15:20 Invited talk - Adam Steinberg

Dr. Adam Steinberg is a Research Fellow in Accelerator Science at the University of Melbourne. His work focuses on the application of particle accelerator technologies for real-world applications, including materials analysis, quantum computing, and cancer treatment. He recently completed his PhD through the Cookson Scholarship, an international collaboration between the University of Manchester and the University of Melbourne. His doctoral research explored the use of fixed-field accelerators in hadron therapy and was recognised with the Mark Oliphant Prize, awarded annually to one a promising early career researcher.
