Description

What if humanity could start everything from scratch? What would we do differently?

In this program we are lifting our lenses from Earth and traveling to an earth-like exoplanet to envision how a society might function there with a focus on circularity in industry and environment.

By making order of magnitude calculations and systemic impact assessments, you will be able to look at societal systems in a holistic and comprehensive manner. This perspective will allow you to consider possible ripple effects or unintended consequences of your actions and ideas.
Through interplanetary scenario building, we will speculate possible futures and then reflect how we can translate these into real-world interventions.

During this week, you will be challenged to think beyond the status quo, collaborate, ideate and prototype solutions to complex problems. You will also have the chance to visit CERN experiment facilities and enjoy the city of Geneva.

Get ready for this interplanetary innovation journey!

The project course is done as a collaboration between IED Barcelona, UPC, ESADE Barcelona and IdeaSquare.
