We're happy to invite you on a trip to CERN from the afternoon of Friday at 7/11 until the morning of Sunday 9/11 (two nights). The program will touch on different aspect of the CERN institute, covering the following (active or historic) experimental and infrastructure sites:
- CMS
- ISOLDE
- ALICE
- AD
- Synchrocyclotron
- Data Centre
- and SM18, the LHC magnet testing facility
We will provide you with accommodation, but you will have to take care of your own transport. We meet at 11h30, 7th of November at the CERN flag next to the tram stop (side of the CERN entrance). The program will take place on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday to be filled at your own convenience. You might be interested in the Science Gateway museum, which is open on Sundays.
