Collectors
- Requested to change eu.scitags.org to point to firefly-collector.geant.org
- Got a message from Katy Ellis (CMS), that they plan to re-enable scitags at RAL, asking for dashboards to see the results
- Currently this is only visible on the CERN dashboards (due to missing topology at ESnet collector)
- TBD on Thursday during CMS O&C week
- Asked them to configure uk.scitags.org as the collector:
- Plan is to initially point it to CERN (to validate if we're receiving the data) and then to GEANT (once ESnet deploys updated dashboards & collectors)
- Internet2 offerred a possiblity to have geo load-balanced DNS record (based on AWS service)
- collector.scitags.org - would point to the nearest collector (based on geo distance) - this simplifies configuration at sites, but needs testing
- Looking for use cases for network operations that would motivate Scitags deployment
- Interesting case studies were shown at SIG-AI, sflow analytics (@CESNET) and in clustering of sflow data with Graph NN (@GEANT)
Collector Dashboards
- Preparing release of the developments at CERN (https://github.com/scitags/firefly-collector/)
- In logstash this will add CRIC topology processing (CRIC sites, tiers, countries, etc.), throughput calculations, correct handling of xrootd's http-put/get methods
- Even with CRIC topology integration, we still won't be able to resolve all sites - this will require a concrete proposal and development

- 11.1.2 has been released - we're waiting for 11.2 to be able to ask sites to deploy
