Vazquez and B. Riffaud to discuss:

- TE-VSC requirement: maintain 300 mm gap between magnets.
- Bellows will be defined.
- Current system length is already 1 m longer than initial integration. Requirements discussed add approximately 600mm, making it an extra +1.6 m length from the original integration.
- Discussion to be held to find solutions for reducing this length.

Vacuum & MDX Chambers

MDX opening discussion:

123 mm opening: D. Boddart is testing this — The cost could be 5–10 k CHF × 8 units (total of up to 80kCHF).
100 mm opening: smaller cost but requires machining of the opening, more resources & money.
Vacuum chambers: ~5 k CHF each, 3 per side, the costs would be similar for either configuration.
Preferred vacuum standard: DN100.

Chiara to discuss with Christelle next week (w/c 13th october).
B. Riffaud, C. Vazquez discussion pending on additional length feasibility.
ECR update to reflect changes once decisions confirmed.
