The LHC Quantum Computing Workshop will take place at the University of Valencia, Spain, on 6–8 October 2026. This workshop brings together researchers, physicists, and computing experts to explore the potential of quantum computing in high-energy physics, with a focus on applications in LHC.

Through a series of talks, hands-on sessions, and collaborative discussions, participants will gain insights into the latest advancements in quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, and their potential use in data analysis, detector simulation, and real-time event reconstruction. The event aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between quantum computing specialists and the LHC community, facilitating knowledge exchange and new research directions.

The workshop is free to attend, and lunch and coffee breaks will be provided. However, accommodation and other meals are not included, so participants will need to make their own arrangements.

Talks and lectures will be broadcasted to Zoom, in case people wanted to attend them online. However, the hands-on sessions will be held exclusively in-person, so it is recommended to make it to Valencia to make the most out of the workshop. The workshop will be held in XXXXX.

This workshop is aimed at participants with a basic knowledge of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and programming, particularly in Python. Some familiarity with quantum computing concepts will be helpful but is not required. You'll need to bring your own laptop with you if you want to participate in the hands-on sessions, although you don't need to do any setup beforehand.

The deadline to register is Monday, 28 September 2026. We encourage interested participants to register in advance to secure their place at this workshop on the intersection of quantum computing and high-energy physics.
