Description

Current transfers between coated conductors in round cables, such as
CORC cable, are expected to improve the robustness against local
defects in coated conductors. However, no one observed a clear current
transfer. Using an array of small Hall sensors installed in the core of a round cable to measure the axial magnetic field, we successfully observed current transfer and confirmed that it improves the cable's
current transport properties.
