      Another quiet week. 

      CE upgrades ongoing with scheduled downtime. Still seeing very intermittent SAM test failures which I had hoped would be fixed by the upgrade but this is not the case. I still see the occasional 'timeout' error, and also 'Held job / job not found'.

      Job efficiency is a little bit lower this week than normal, but this is consistent with other T1s.

      A couple of narrow spikes in the job input read time on 3rd March, but these are User Analysis jobs.

      LHCb Operations Report

      News:

      • DIRAC PR that allows local separation of local and external storage endpoints have been approved. That means we can expect deployment of writeable WN changes (in DIRAC) soon (with the next release).

      Issues:

      • Issues with xrootd gateway on one of the WNs on Monday, caused some download failures. Fixed by restart. Very minor impact.

      ALICE Operations Report

      Alice  has significantly exceeded its allocation on ECHO. That's partially because of the broken xrootd accounting. Seems like cmsd is not redirecting query requests to the gateways (and unable to server the requests itself). It is also not contactable from CERN via IPv6 (expected with the current VM setup, should be fixed after proxmox migration).

      The issue is tracked in GRIDPP-6033
