2nd Belgian ESPP “Town Hall” meeting

Europe/Zurich
Barbara Clerbaux (Inter-University Institute for High Energies (BE)), Fabio Maltoni (Universite Catholique de Louvain (UCL) (BE) and Università di Bologna), Pierre Van Mechelen (University of Antwerp (BE))
Description

The CERN Council has initiated a process to update the European Strategy for Particle Physics. The Belgian HEP community submitted their input in spring 2025.  With the publication of the Physics Briefing Book and more information on financial aspects now available, national HEP communities have an opportunity to update their input before November 14, in time for the Strategy Drafting Session at the beginning of December 2025. Further details on the process can be found on the CERN website:
https://europeanstrategyupdate.web.cern.ch/welcome

To coordinate the Belgian input, we are organizing a second national meeting with the aim of fine-tuning our recommendation for the primary and alternative priority for the next flagship collider at CERN.
Please register for the meeting before October 26 (there is no registration fee).

Venue: Solvay Room, ULB
