Discussion:
- Luke provided the updated spreadsheet with the magnet FP
- Yves comment: FP of PC to be followed in 2 week, mainly taken care by Alessio/Edwin
- Yves will send out the GUI layout of the new rack positions by email to everyone
- Normally the DIC request should be made from power converter responsible as the cables are dimentioned for the PC rating
- The DC cabling DIC request for magnets is already in place ( RQF2586238), Yves will check and come back to tell if the DIC for H/V correctors (8 cables) is already done by EPC or not (Action: Yves)
- Jeremie: old H/V corrector cables can not be reused because they were using few amps. The new correctors need 280 A/ 50 A, so cable dimentions are large.
- Nicolas: it is ok to get the FP by the end of the year, for now he needs the type of the cable and length such that cables can be ordered
- After AD physics run, a visit of the AD ring will be organised with EN-EL to look at the cable path (see decabling, and installation of Signal+Dc cabling)
- DIC update and AD ring visits to be followed up in 2 weeks (Action: Gunn)
AOB: WIC + interlock
- Luke, Adriana and Jeremie pointed out that we also need the DIC request for WIC interlock
- From the previous communications with R. Mompo, it was decided that he will do the DIC request for the WIC cables (see comment in DIC for signal cable request by Gunn RQF2586241)
- Jeremie: we need WIC cables from magnet to WIC and from WIC to power converters
- Jeremie: Standard WIC cables are NE4 but for the HV corrector we need NE8 type WIC cables
- Luke: Sequence of switching off the magnets upon overheating needs to be clarified if we go directly to WIC or via SY-BI interlock patch panel
- Adriana: SY-BI has prepared interlock documentation (WIC, magnet switches, vacuum, HV cage etc), will be followed up in seperate meeting (Action: Adriana)
