Description

For all Science Gateway exhibition guides, we truly appreciate your time and effort in making science and technology accessible and exciting for all our visitors.

We have held a guide event for the exhibitions before with great success, and now it is time to do it once more, so we can help each other examining how to: Engage more with visitors – to be a guide, not just a guard!

Event Schedule:

  • Part 1: Share Your Experience: Share your unique experiences in the exhibitions through discussions with your fellow guides
  • Part 2: Case-by-case: Examine two different cases of interactions with visitors, what makes it work
  • Part 3: Networking and Refreshments: Unwind and connect with your peers over drinks and snacks.

Why you won’t want to miss this

  • Explore the exhibitions with your fellow guides, to share your favourite stories.
  • Exchange ideas and insights with fellow guides and the exhibition team.
  • Meet, connect, and network in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
  • Engage with the exhibits without any visitors there.

This is your chance to enhance your skills, share your experiences, and make guiding an even more rewarding experience.

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and something to nibble on will be provided.

The event will start in the labs above the reception, but will also take us to the exhibitions.

Please enter Science Gateway via the side entrance of the SG reception building (Building 82, Level -1, at the bottom of the stairs/elevator).

The number of participants of this event is limited to 60. If you are not able to join, please cancel or inform us promptly as soon as possible.

*In order to participate to this event you should have completed the Exhibitions training.
