We're delighted to welcome Kati Lassila-Perini to discuss with us the recent Recommendations for Best Practices for Data Preservation and Open Science in HEP (arXiv:2508.18892) from the Data Lifecycle panel of the International Committee of Future Accelerators (ICFA). Kati will give an overview of the recommendations, followed by an extended discussion with the audience.
