Description
Building operator bases automatically is non-trivial, and in particular it is more subtle than simply listing all symmetry invariants. In this talk, I will discuss progress towards upgrading the Sym2Int code so that, given the symmetries and field content of an EFT, it can construct the explicit terms needed to write a Lagrangian. I will emphasize the handling of repeated fields, which can induce complicated permutation symmetries on the Wilson coefficient tensors. I will also describe how a basis for a specific EFT can be obtained by starting from a general EFT and imposing the relevant gauge and symmetry constraints.
