End-of-Year Event for Guides

To wrap up an amazing year, we are pleased to invite CERN guides to a special end-of-year event.
The event will include an improvisation show by external experts in improvisation, public speaking and public engagement techniques, followed by an apéro to celebrate your great work, support and commitment throughout the year.

📍 Location: Science Gateway Auditorium BC
👥 Places: Limited to 60 participants (first come, first served)
Please register in advance, places are limited, and spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Meet our experts:
Yohann Thenaisie has a Phd in neuroscience and is the winner of "my thesis in 180 seconds" and has graduated from theater school at La manufacture. Yohann works passionately about science communication and theatre as an active improviser, he blends humor, science, and storytelling.
Shay Schafer is an improviser, performer, and coach from Texas. With 6 years of experience in improv and theater in the hub of improv, Chicago. With their extensive experience from renowned theaters like ComedySportz, The Annoyance Theatre, and Second City.They brought back their experience to Geneva and now perform and teach improv for the Renegade Saints.
Robin Szymczak is an engineer, improviser, and storyteller with a master’s in digital humanities from EPFL. As both a performer and trainer for Impro Suisse, he blends his technical expertise with artistic passion, co-directing the award-winning animated short "Poong". He is currently working on creating animated science videos.
