The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) has reported impressive new results after only 60 days of data taking by measuring the solar neutrino oscillation parameters with better precision than all previous neutrino experiments in history.
Given these exciting news, on Tuesday December 16 14:00-16:00 CET, we will have a two-hour online event where these new results will be presented and their implications discussed. The schedule will be:
14:00-14:05 -- Welcome and intro
14:05-14:40 -- The global 3x3 neutrino oscillation picture
14:40-15:25 -- JUNO results
15:25-16:00 -- Panel discussion
Invited speakers and panelists are:
-- Ivan Esteban (the 3x3 neutrino global fit)
-- Iwan Morton-Blake (new results from JUNO)
-- TH-panelists: Kevin Kelly, Eligio Lisi, Pedro Machado, Renata Zukanovich-Funchal
-- EXP-panelists: Anatael Cabrera, Patrick Dunne, Patrick Huber, Livia Ludhova, Zeyuan Yu
This event is organized as a EuCAPT (European Consortium for Astroparticle Theory) fast response workshop in collaboration with the CERN Neutrino Platform (TH, EP-NU).
We invite the worldwide neutrino and astroparticle community to join us, hear about these results and chime in the discussion. The event will be broadcasted over zoom. One can join using the videoconference tab.
