DUNE is a long-baseline neutrino experiment, currently under construction in the United States. The neutrino beamline and near detectors will be located at Fermilab.
Far detectors will be installed 1300 km away, more than a kilometer underground, at the Sanford Underground Research Laboratory in South Dakota. Their design is based on state-of-the-art Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber technology.
In the seminar, physics goals and the status of DUNE will be presented.
