Update from CAD design (N. Peray & Dimitrios):
- Nico prepared a summary on the different handling operations for coil and magnet assembly
- Up to impregnation step, all handling tooling is already designed and ready
- There are no lifting threaded holes in the pole, they were initially foreseen but then removed after the decision of splitting the pole in inner and upper layer.
- For the thinnest part in the pole (4 mm) it is very hard to guarantee that we have at least threaded two times the screw diameter
- Slide 2: The first row can be removed by turning the impregnation mold and opening already the mold with the coil aperture upside
- Important to lift the coil in both positions with the aperture upside and downside
- Action: Nico will try to simplify the lifting beam and make it compatible with the different configurations.
- Dimitrios prepared a summary on the end plate loading sequence:
- Proposal is to remove the complex system for centering the plate and just consider a lifting table plus some mechanical jacks
Update from endplate design (J. Ferradas):
- Proposal is to keep the 150 mm thick
Update from dummy components (V. Roxenborg):
- Quotation to be updated with the material for rods (50mm)
