Description
Scalar triplets with $Y=0$ are minimal extensions of the Standard Model (SM) with broad phenomenological appeal. The inert Triplet Model (ITM) offers a WIMP Dark Matter (DM), while the non-inert Higgs Triplet Model (HTM) provides a custodial symmetry-violating signature, with both models offering prospects for a first-order EW phase transition (FOPT). We will discuss the discovery prospects of these models at future lepton colliders, while also revealing the disheartening trade-off between DM and FOPT requirements, if one chooses to stick to these minimal scalar triplet extensions.
