32nd International Conference on Ultra-relativistic Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions (Quark Matter 2027)
Quark Matter 2027 is the XXXIInd International Conference on Ultra-relativistic Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions, which will be held in Jeju-island, Korea. This conference brings together theoretical and experimental physicists from around the world to discuss new developments in high-energy heavy-ion physics. The focus of the discussions is on the fundamental understanding of strongly-interacting matter at extreme conditions, as formed in ultra-relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions, as well as on emergent QCD phenomena in high-multiplicity proton-proton and proton-nucleus collisions.
The scientific program will cover the following topics:
- Chirality
- Collective Dynamics
- Critical Point Searches
- Electromagnetic Probes
- Future Facilities and Detectors
- Development in Lattice QFT/Computing Infrastructure/AI & Quantum Computing
- Heavy Flavor Physics
- Initial State of Particle Collisions
- Jets
- Light and Strange Flavor Physics
- New Theoretical Developments
- Nuclear Astrophysics
- Physics of Ultra-Peripheral Collisions
- QCD at Finite Density and Temperature
- Exotics and Heavy/Hyper-nuclei
- Small Systems
