Ms. Oliwia Kaluzinska is a final-year PhD student in Electrical Engineering/Electronics at the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETIT) Department of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with her research conducted at CERN. Her PhD focuses on the characterisation and radiation hardness of silicon pad sensors for the CMS Endcap Calorimeter Upgrade.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Physics (Nanoengineering) and a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications (Optical Fibre Optoelectronics and Technology) from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Poland.

Oliwia has extensive professional experience at CERN, where she has worked as both a Doctoral Student and a Technical Student. She will soon return from maternity leave to take up a Graduate Fellow position as a Quality Control Scientist for ATLAS ITk silicon pixel modules.
