Description

International Masterclasses (IMC) offer high school students from 60 countries around the world the chance to be particle physicsist for one day. They are invited to a research institute and analyse data from LHC experiments. Each Masterclasses day ends with a video conference, where students present and combine their results. The video linkups are moderated by PhD students and Postdocs at CERN. IMC26 will be held from February 18 to April 1. The orientation will introduce moderators to their tasks. More infos about International Masterclasses: https://ippog.org/imc-international-masterclasses

The first hour will introduce general aspects of videoconferencing for all moderators. The second part from 10-11 is dedicated to ATLAS and CMS measurements. Separate training sessions for ALICE  and LHCb measurements will be arranged.

Starting at 8:30 a.m., before the training session, we cordially invite you to join us for coffee/tea and croissants in Building 40.

The registration is closed now.
