Nested soft-collinear subtraction goes fully general at NNLO in QCD
by
In this talk, I will present the generalisation of the nested soft–collinear subtraction scheme to arbitrary processes with massless partons at hadron and lepton colliders. The method is based on local subtraction counterterms combined with a sector partition of phase space and an adaptive parametrisation of unresolved radiation, allowing for a systematic treatment of infrared singularities from real and virtual corrections. I will describe the general structure of the scheme, highlight key technical ingredients underlying the construction and integration of the counterterms, and discuss their transparent physical interpretation. I will conclude by outlining how these developments provide a concrete path towards the automation of NNLO QCD calculations within the nested soft–collinear framework.
