Jenkins

  • java 21 migration on going
    • fine for CMS, almost done
    • SFT: VMs for macs need an update with Java 21
    • CERNVM: very old mac intel machines? Nodes could also just be disconnected
  • New Jenkins LTS release available, will be done along with Java 21 update
  • "No such file or directory" error during runs
    • java 21 was updated on the hosts which causes this error message, if nodes are not restarting between the updates
      • No puppet was also set up to not update java 21

 

 

Geant4

  • Created some windows machines in Prevessin

 

CVMFS

  • build nodes using BNL statrum 1
    • Should monitor why this happened, and why it was not reset
    • Prometheus cvmfs monitor should monitor the stratum 1 that is being used
      • Is this being exported?
  • CDash: not used yet
