    • Slides explaining reasons for upgrade and new design (Stephane)
    • NEG can be activated only a certain number of times (~15) --> important to optimize number of openings 
    • Check what could be improved in the sector also (ask BI colleagues) since it will be open
    • Push pull below less for the new BTV would be used (as for ELENA)
      • Firing of the push pull required
    • Check if EI.BTV10 and 20 could be replaced as well at the same time
      • Easier for VSC if we keep vacuum chamber (no new ones)
      • we will ask MME if they can go through as well
    • General agreement to do the upgrade of the ER.BTV12 (at least) during LS3
    • Planning
      • Commissioning LEIR is April 2028
      • Detail planning not known so far --> Wait until it becomes a bit more realistic
        • Potentially, BTV replacement in Q4 2027 or Q1 2028
    • Summary of actions:
      • Continue the ER.BTV12 design as 1st priority (BI/MME)
      • ECR will be finalized ASAP (BI)
      • Check the EI.BTV10 & 20 consolidation feasibility at the same time (BI/MME)
      • Check planning with VSC once available and rediscuss together the installation plan (VSC/BI)
