  • XRootD 6.0 missing items
    • Systemd unit security upgrade (ongoing)
    • Set XDG_CACHE_HOME if not already set to a subdirectory of the admin path
    • Add new option for header2cgi (option to strip sensitive info on redirect)
    • Update systemd-tmpfiles configuration (pre-create directories, ensure proper ownership)
    • Decision on removal of XrdEc (decision: do not remove, just disable by default and in official packages)
    • Decision on renaming of XrdClCurl to replace XrdClHttp (decision postponed to next week)
    • Finish necessary work for releasing binary Python wheels for XRootD (using auditwheel, easy)
    • Some fixes needed in CI (make sure libzip is always installed and used where possible)
    • Bump SOVERSION of all libraries and update XrdVersionPlugin.hh
    • Decision on HTTP request and summary monitoring features
    • Support for statx system call
    • Documentation updates
