ASP2026 IOC+LOC Meeting

Sister Mary presented the proposed timetable of the site visit. The following action items were retained:

1. Lydia and Christine will contact the French Embassy for possible meeting.
2. Similarly, Kétévi will contact the US Embassy.
3. Lydia will help Sister Mary to reach out to the Swiss Embassy.
4. The purpose of the Embassy visits is to invite them to event in July, in particular the ASP Forum, planned on Friday July 10 during ASP2026. 
5. Tentatively, the Embassy visits are planned on Monday Feb 2 or Wednesday Feb 4 afternoon.
6. Kétévi will contact the AAS to communicate our planned visit on Thursday, Feb 5. He will mentioned our visit to CNRS on the same day. Similarly, Lydia will reach out to the CNRS.
7. Sister Mary will update the site visit agenda as discussed, in particular she will add a debriefing meeting on Friday afternoon, Feb 6.
8. Kétévi will send to the LOC the itineraries of the visitors. The LOC recommended keeping the airport transfer reservations made through the hotel. 
9. Njeri mentioned that the LOC may assist with extra curricula activities on a free afternoon or Saturday Feb 7. 

 

AOB:

Sister Mary mentioned the necessity to reschedule the teachers training and high school outreach programs to June 29 - July 2. We agreed to discuss this during the visit.
