20th Patatrack Hackathon in Lyon!
The Patatrack Hackathon has been ruling since 2017, and for its 20th edition, it will go abroad: to Lyon! It will be held at CCIN2P3, the Computing Center of IN2P3, and France WLCG T1.
For the nostalgic, here is the 2nd edition, the first officially on Indico, in January 2018.
These hackathons are open to all members of CMS, and self-organized in small groups of 2-4 people.
The goal is to brainstorm, debug, develop, and improve well-defined algorithms or pieces of code, sharing ideas and knowledge, away from emails, meetings, and other distractions.
The deadline for registration is April 19th 2026.
Topics include: performance portability, new algorithms, optimization, reconstruction, memory management, machine learning.
