Máté Csanád is a theoretical nuclear physicist at the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest. His research focuses on relativistic heavy-ion collisions and the properties of strongly interacting matter under extreme conditions. He works on event-by-event fluctuations and correlations, hydrodynamic and statistical approaches to particle production, and phenomenological studies related to the QCD phase diagram. His work is closely connected to experimental programs at the SPS and the LHC, including physics results from the ALICE experiment.
