      • Protection of equipment
        • Plastic covering will be placed over equipment within working perimeter - this will be done with the help from Benoit
        • Frame to be built over equipment for mechanical protection of beamline - hopefully the help of Oscar and Benoit (and Antoine) - TBC
        • Timeline ~end of Feb
      • CV
        • Water lines below barrack for vac pumps to be cut and closed off mid-Feb (see photos attached for cut locations)
          • 2-3 days required
        • Water lines inside RILIS can only be removed once large tables are removed which can only be removed once roof is removed
          • Will see if roof can be removed in advance from anticipated ACE dismantling phase
        • Meeting on thurs to review any open ended points that CV require from RILIS team as well to review CV integration
      • Cables
        • Once water lines cut and removed can initiate dismantling of cable trays from I-beams - beginning of March
        • IT to remove cables and sockets week 9
        • Cables inside lab starting to be removed mid-Feb

      Speaker: Joachim Vollaire (CERN)
    • 16:50 → 16:55
Activities in the expeirmental hall - Coactivity management 5m
Speakers: Erwin Siesling (CERN), Hanne Heylen (CERN), Oscar Fjeld (CERN)
      • End of last week a coordination issue occured when the crane appeared to be double booked: for WISARD dewar handing and transfo handling (Lukas). Both requests were sent to the transport service and on their list. The WISARD team allowed the use of the crane for 15 min but this went on to more than 1 1/2 hrs. For the upcoming transport request it would be good to see with Yann Seraphin (EN/HE) what they have on their list so priorities can be put?
      • On Thursday-evening the power to the ISS compressor was cut as part of a consignation of the depart (EXD32.12*80  ). The consignation was done in advance to allow early morning work on the coffrets (renovation). A full night of compressor stop would not have been possible. Workaround was found in hooking the compressor up to another outlet which still had power (luckily the cable was long enough to reach the one in the RP buffer zone).
      • Cable installation work for the flammable gas bottles heating (outside cabinet) on the Einstein road wall caused a short blockage of the SAS entrance/exit side. Passage under the HEBT beamlines was still possible. With the 508 side entrance blocked due to the platform work this was an ackward situation and should be avoided.. Contact: Jerome Cantet EN-EL-SW
      • Cable work for the CHROME detectors (power cables) ongoing/finishing. Contact: Jerome Cantet EN-EL-SW
      • Installation of the fences at the 508 side entrance/tournequet will happen this week.
      • EPC platform work continious as foreseen (check possible delay due to fire alarms yesterday). Removal of the EPC platform scaffolding foreseen this Thursday - possibly crane blockage for a few hours
      • Paint in 197/1-401 power room has been verified (Nicolas Malterre HSE/OHS) - not containing any lead. Report forwarded to Raul Fernandez Ortega and Johan Paul Dauge (SCE/TOD) for the false floor support structure modifications.
Pictures were taken of the old current Dummy-Load. Suspicion of asbestos in a few small heat protecting rods - pictures have been sent on to the specialist to see if the obsolete apparatus can be send to recuperation like this.

      • Concrete slab for the MULTIPAC chiller next to 508 has been poured. No clash with other activties. Question CV (Nina): can the chiller be placed Monday 09/02?
      • Ventilation material bins next to 197 have been recuperated.

      • A fire alarm occured Monday-afternoon just before 15h. The hall was evacuated, the fire brigade arrived. Both detectors ESD in the HRS Separator zone went off as well as later the one in the GPS Separator zone. Fire brigade with RP (Nadine Conan, Alexandre Dorsival) went in to check and in the HRS Separator zone a fine mist/smoke was noticed. No immediate source could be found. Vacuum pumps temperatures were measured (~50 Celsius = normal). With the 'coincidence' in mind of the re-puming of the RC4 line a few minutes before the fire alarm the vacuum specialist was called in (Guillermo Merino Fernandez, VSC). Nothing obvious could be found or concluded but the idea was raised to do another venting/pumping test soon to see if any oil vapor would escape from the Low E primary pump into the zone (broken bellow or such?).
Remark by Jose Ferreira Somoza, VSC, this morning: With the ventilation stopped and the gains blocked, the vapor released by the pump will end up in the zone. This explains the situation we had yesterday and the oil 'mist' causing the smoke detectors to go of. Suggestion by Jose is to stop the pumping until the ventilation work has finished and is back on. Tech coordination: Are there any interventions planned. Can the primary puming be stopped? If we have an unexpected gas load we might have another alarm and anybody entering the HRS area will be breathing the the pump exhaust.
      • Fire alarm sirenes in the hall remaind active until ~18h yesterday when green light was given by the fire brigade to enter the hall. Cleaning of the detectors and the sniffer lines was necessary by the specialist to get the detection system back to nominal measured values.
