• Machines at BSC are quite restricted — no direct way to reach internal services
• Antonio explained the setup: a few user access nodes running cron jobs that launch SSHFS transfers.
• For now, there’s no need to involve PIC. A CERN VM should be enough to create the SSHFS bridge, and we’ll start from there.

Follow-up

• Jose proposed to bring up the broader FCC community involvement in the Data Lake and analysis work, especially since CIEMAT colleagues are now ramping up on FCC activities.
• Jose intends to also follow up with BSC on standard data transfer protocols.
  • Giovanni will keep Jose in the loop with respect of the EuroHPC Federation Platform (after discussing with Maria Girone)
• Antonio is willing share the custom transfer tools they’ve developed for the BSC use case.
