We reviewed the preselections from various subcommittees. In the cases where there are differences in grading or more information is needed, we suggest following up to obtain what is necessary for finalize the preselections.

We need subcommittees 1, 4, and 5 to input their preselection information here by Thursday, February 19.

The LOC should see if they have any recommendations for candidates that are not currently preselected and inform us of these cases. 

On February 20, IOC will use the preselections and budget information to suggest the final selections considering diversity and constraints from funding agencies.

Then, the list of selected students will be passed to the IOC for confirmation of their attendance, then to SAIP for travel arrangements. We will not meet again about student selections. Rather, we shift focus towards the scientific program and the invitations for lecturers.
