Description
We present recent results on hadron-hadron femtoscopy correlation functions obtained using the T-matrix-based Routine for hadrOn femtoscopY (TROY). In particular, we focus on the interactions of D mesons with light mesons and baryons. We detail the effective theories used to describe these elementary interactions, and describe how their parameters are constrained via the T-matrix equation to match generated states with known resonances in the corresponding sectors.
We start with the D-meson–light meson sector, comparing our predictions in [1] with experimental data from the ALICE Collaboration (LHC) in high-multiplicity pp collisions. Next, we present recent predictions for D-meson interactions with nucleons [2], employing a meson–baryon effective theory. After discussing the difference between the on-shell and off-shell approaches of the T matrix, we show our results compared with recent femtoscopy data from ALICE in p+p collisions, as well as from the STAR Collaboration (RHIC) in Au+Au collisions.
