Beamline for Schools | Application of pixel-detector technologies (TimePix)

Description

The organisers of Beamline for Schools (BL4S; https://cern.ch/bl4s) are glad to meet the teams interested in participating in the competition. In this online event, you will learn how pixel detectors work, what their capabilities and potential benefits are, and how they have been used with success in scientific applications. You will meet with a scientist from the Czech Technical University in Prague, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. To facilitate the participation of people coming from different time zones, we will hold the same session two times, at 9 am and at 5 pm, CET (Central European Time).
