  • Tape station rack removed and temporary stored down the hall (see photo)
  • Frame built by Oscar by HRS for cables - this needs to be redeisgned / discussed to maintain access for HRS
    • Options:
      • Remove HRS door completely and include lock for secondary door (lock to be available to RP, firefighters, and traka)
      • Temporarily place cables on frame, once scaffolding built, transfer cables so they are suspended from scaffolding and dissassemble frame 
  • Dust protective plastic layer to be put up next monday
  • Equipment on hall floor removed last week - space now available for large equipment removal
  • Gas lines in ISCOOL removal next week
  • Chemicals from dye prep cupboard being organised this week for storage elsewhere
• EN/EL - IT
  
  • Survey finalised yesterday - contractors did not perform satisfactory job, so Laura/ Rustan finished up yesterday
    • Decabling and suspension planned to start next week
    • Roof cables suspension week 12
  • IT cables removed
  • Fiber optic
    • confirmed OK to shift cable on roof providing they are present during re-positioning
      • Follow up technical visit for back up plan incase of damage to cables
    • Fiber cable to ISCOOL cage to be removed by Lukas with supervision from EN/EL next week
• Integration
  • HRS door
    • Meeting planned March 11th with Didier for new design
    • Replacement timeline still TBC
  • New rack to be placed in newly available space from HRS door replacement
    • This (tbc) will house the 2x teslameters and tape stn fec
  • RILIS room layout being finalised -> adapted height of entry with shielding towards GLM -> this will not be removable (as foreseen before)

  • Confirmed roof equip removal starting mon - crane will be required!
  • Pipes inside lab (all but one connected to water) removed yesterday - thanks Francisco!
  • Technical visit for displacing compressed air line yesterday - inspection for work required ongoing this week
• Safety
  • Found more lead to be removed inside wall toward HRS separator, this will be included with the Pb removal campagn for RILIS (see photo)
    • As well there has been some lead found in an ancient radioactive sample box in the back corner or the old control room, this will also be added to the RILIS "pile" (see photo)
  • Crane access above SSP area (placement of shielding during experiments) with new RILIS design, confirmed OK with crane support

14:30 → 14:40 Machine related activities in the experimental hall

EPC platform:

• advancing well. Interconnecting HT cables racks/patch panels being installed
• mis-match cabling data base and destination for a few cables to be solved (Simon / Nicolas / Rustan)
• 12 new HT cables for CAO switching will be routed via LA1 cable trays: re-inforcement to be put in place (1 extra pillar IPN 30cm bracket): Budget Code?
• old blue racks will be dismounted soon Last old blue rack will need to stay in place since it holds the vertical cable tray. New pillar(s) will be put in place to support the cable tray.
• alu 90 bracket on the 197 wall under the newely installed vertical cable trays to be removed (Oscar?)

 

HIE ISOLDE:
preparations CM1 dismount:

• request to remove/arrange shielding blocks around cryo openings roof gone out: To be done this week (transport Yann Seraphin). Small black plastic palette in place. Attn. keep concrete roof plates to be removed for CM1 transport free.
• survey CM1, XLN2 and XLN3 intertank sectors position verification Wedn-morning 04/03 (Alexandre Beynel)
• survey BCAM (MATHILDE system) dismount Monday-morning 09/03 (Alexandre Beynel, Antje Behrens)
• request VSC (Guillermo Merino Fernandez) to start with vacuum dismounting work this week to reduce workload wk13 (23-25 March): Will be scheduled around survey work
• installation view ports CM1 around/after survey work (Mathieu Therasse)
  
  

HIE ISOLDE
BI preparations:

• move wooden box 'BI DBox' down from tunnel roof to between XT01/02: preparation DBox calibration work and CM1 XLN02/03 intertank units dismount (storage) (BI team, transport). To be done this week (transport Yann Seraphin)

 

Fibre optics in the hall:

• various fibres to be pulled (Benjamin Ninet / Nenad Simic):
  FEC RC6 - OK can be done from the already installed connection box on the HIE tunnel wall - attn. not during CM1 transport/dismount
  Fibre removal RILIS and ISCOOL with RILIS works (Lukas Nies)
  New fibres FEC's and White Rabbit (WR) deployment: New fibres asap in cable tray on the 170 Saleve wall (before RILIS dismount). Connection box next to REX RF room entrance (high up). Postponed interconnections from the (new) fibre box to CAO, RILIS and ISCOOL FEC's after RILIS refurbishment

ISOLTRAP preparations:

• emergency exit wall carrotage preps: coffret/outlets and ground cable mezzanine side (HIE) to be moved. Ticket EN/EL out. Verification in situ scheduled. BC needed.
• Carrotage devis done: Waiting for BC ISOLTRAP to give go-ahead and launch the order with the contractor
• BC being created (Arthur Jaries) - critical for EN/EL outlets dismount ISOLTRAP side + material and work orders (Severin D'Armancourt)

 

Request to VITO and TAS users:

• remove the cupboards and toolboxes along the HIE ISOLDE tunnel wall to allow handling equipment to pass (roof opening and CM1 dismount week 13/14). Latest date to remove the items: Monday 23 March.

 

HIE ISOLDE 'storage' area:

• Space needed for BI Diagnotics Box work (20 m2)
  • Comment Hanne: that seems a lot!
  • 6 months, after 13th of April
• Installation RC7 ongoing..
• Passage to be kept for small electrical forklift (CM1 intertank dismounting) Week 13/14 (23-31 March)

    • Edingburgh chamber + 2 racks next to HIE-ISOLDE-> gave deadline of 20th of March (also frees up 2 racks next to HIE-ISOLDE)
    • Old Implantation chamber (radioactive) -> I would propose to go next to XT03 where the above racks are or maybe next to COLLAPS 
    • New implantation chamber --> 275?
    • Gandalph (radioactive)

  • Propose to send e-mail to everyone to free up the area as soon as possible!

  • Propose to store LN2 dewars there temporarily (ask Thierry) - is this compatible with CM1 activities?
