Are you considering applying to the Entrepreneurship Academy, CERN's entrepreneurship training?

This information session is designed for CERN members of personnel who would like to better understand the structure, expectations, and selection process of CERN’s entrepreneurship training programme.

CERN Entrepreneurship Academy supports researchers who want to explore how their scientific discoveries, technologies, or know-how could translate into real-world ventures.

No prior business background is required.

What This Session Will Cover

During this short session, we will present:

  • The structure of the 10-module programme and the four phases: Inspire, Build, Grow, Scale

  • Eligibility criteria and participation requirements

  • Time commitment and attendance expectations

  • Selection process

  • Q&A

This session is particularly recommended for those planning to submit an application before the deadline.

 


 

 

CERN Entrepreneurship Academy: Key Information

      • Language: English

      • Duration: 25 hours (10 modules) distributed from May to November 2026

      • Places are limited. Participants are asked to submit a short personal motivation statement as part of the selection process

      • Cost to be covered by your departmental training budget

      • APPLY HERE before 20 April 2026, 9:00am

 

Applications are now open. Participants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 24 April.
