14:30 → 14:40 Machine related activities in the experimental hall

Platform EPC:

• ~12 cables indentified (multi pin) that need extension: Will be under the false floor (cheapest solution). Discussed with Rustan Calming (WSS).
• interconnections racks / patch panels ongoing. Old racks emptied and dismounted from the false floor (except last: holds the vertical cable tray. To be replaced by pillar(s)). Asked to recuperate 2 blue doors for the remaining short row of blue racks (2 doors missing).

Other question Rustan:

• Change of the RP monitors for CHROME -> same mounting spots assumed

 

REX/HIE ISOLDE preparations CM1 transport:

• Vacuum dismounting anticipated: CM1/XLN02 disconnected (XLN03 both sides CM1/2 to be done). TP's, etc. bottom CM1 dismounted (Guillermo Merino Fernandez).
• Viewports protected of CM1 and upstream of CM2 (Mathieu Therasse).
• BCAM cameras and supports XLN02 and XLN03 removed (Antje Behrens) (reference positions measured last week (Alex Beynel)).
• Iron shielding bricks roof for CM1 and parts CM2 removed (Transport Yann Seraphin & team)
• BI wooden box moved from the roof to next to XT02 - BI to recuperate material and prepare to stor the XLN02 and XLN03 units -> Attn. to be verified if they fit): Intertank units to be removed including XY-tables (easiest).
• This week: Dismounting top-plate services (SRF cabling (Daniel Valuch - verify availability) + tuner plates & coupler motors, instrumentation cabling, etc. (Mathieu Therasse). Wedn/Thursd disconnection of the water and DC for the correctors XLN02 & 03 .0200 (Alexandre Cretin)
• Next week: Cryo work on roof and top-plate (removal flexibles, structure, protection burst discs, etc.).

Info tunnel roof opening & transport CM1 -> SM18:

• Week 16 (13-17 April):
  Opening/closing Tunnel roof & CM1 handling in the hall - handling tools and vehicles (cherry picker, etc.), heavy use of the overhead crane
  Wall Jura side to be clear of cupboards and toolboxes (access wall top side)
  CM1 will be standing from 15 - ~23 April in the handling zone next to the yellow RP buffer zone: vibration and inclination sensors + wrapping for transport
• Week 17 (20- 24 April):
  Transport CM1 from ISOLDE 170 to SM18 - special transport (truck & trailer) arriving ~23/24 April (tbc). Heavy use of the overhead crane during handling in the 170 hall (CM1 onto pendulum/trailer).
  SAS and handling zone to be empty (users will be informed). Parkingt to be empty (IBDRS project been informed)
• RILIS planning kept in the loop (Carlotta Porzio), ISOLTRAP planning kept in the loop (Arthur Jaries)

Planning REX/HIE:  170 REX HIE planning | Document 3383102 (v.1)

ISOLDE Hall cooling water (27 degrees users Low E side. HIE side: no cooling water):

• CV is facing difficulties with the demineralization as well as general functioning of the hall (Low E user side) cooling water: No load to the system. Suggestion to stop the cooling water and towers until needed?
• ISO-House ask around:
  - REXEBIS: Not until after summer
  - CRIS mid-April till mid-May (for lasers and TP's)

 

Work in he 170 HT room:

- Julien Parra-Lopez: Replacement of the GPS and HRS target heating power supplies. Ongoing.

 

170/508:

• first discussions (rain) cover walkway versus full building (Hand-Foot monitor, sink, toilets, eye washer, PPE storage, tournequet integrated) between 508 and 170 entrances: improvement users, operations and SSP.
• Move of the N2 and Ar bottle batteries to 199 side: integration intermediate tanks 170 ex-entrance to outside to be studied (vacuum team, general integration Vincent Barozier)

• Platform replacement preparations: Meeting held for the scaffolding installation: VITO laser tube (high section) and tall pillar to be removed (Transport / VITO users?)

• Emergency wall cutting/carrotage: Power outlets and ground cable HIE mezzanine side ongoing (300 CHF) (Jerome Cantet). BC used not correct (being solved). BC needed for material order (Severin d'Armancourt). Wall cutting April(tbc).
