The purpose of this conference presented in the context of CERN Mental Health Lecture Series is to
introduce the understanding of physical symptoms following psychotraumatisms and reciprocally,
psychotraumatisms following acute life-threatening medical events. Submissions to this collection
should focus on epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention within this context in accessible
language for a non-health professional public.
