        Fermilab Program for Organic Scintillator 1h

        Fermilab is one of the largest producers of organic scintillators in the world. Its scintillator has been used in a wide variety of applications, including archeology, volcanology, mining exploration, agriculture, national security, as well as more traditional applications in HEP and Astro-particle physics. We will describe the scintillator extrusion facility and injection molding facility. We will discuss ongoing and near-term future projects for these facilities, including production of scintillating tiles for the CMS HGCAL HL-LHC upgrade.
